I am glad I found this stuff. It works great and seems to be holding up well. I do put just a daub of super glue on the front and back of the feather. The video instructions on 3 Rivers and You Tube help as well

Comments about Feather Tape Feather Adhesive:
I've been using Bohning fletching tape almost since I began making arrows. I can do a dozen in less than an hour. No waiting for glue to dry, except for the dab I put on the leading point of the feather. I have rarely had a feather come loose. The secret is running a popsicle stick or some other object along each side of the feather base to make sure the glue bonds completely.

a little hard to use if you have big fingers but can be done much faster than glue just stick and shoot

Comments about Feather Tape Feather Adhesive:
Tis tape is the very best adhesive for fletching applications I've used a few rolls now and it is very durable. I've never had a feather come loose as I have with glue.PERFECT!

Comments about Feather Tape Feather Adhesive:
I started using this tape to simplify things as I'm just getting starting in fletching my own arrows. It was easy to use and I have not had a feather fall off, with plenty of stump pass throughs, ice, snow, arrows bouncing off rocks, etc. I see no need to switch to glue. I've done about a dozen arrows and still have plenty of tape left.
Comments about Feather Tape Feather Adhesive:
I really appreciate the fact that I can go straight from the jig to the practice butt with no waiting for glue to dry!
Even Better If it came with a dispenser that had a built in cutter kind of like a scotch tape dispenser.

Comments about Feather Tape Feather Adhesive:
I read the reviews and found the only real complaint was when someone tried it with vanes. Since I'm using feathers decided to try it. Tape is very thin (has to be to be narrow enough for your feather spines) so it can be difficult with big fingers. I didn't have any problems, in fact it's the fastest I ever fletched arrows. No need for a multi-fletch tool with this stuff. As soon as the feather touches the shaft, its set. Which means you need to be sure to have everything aligned as you want it! Watch the 3 Rivers video clip for tips.
Comments about Feather Tape Feather Adhesive:
Using a medieval styled fletch, this product hits just the spot for me.
Instead of having to hassle with runny glues, sticking brushes or both at once, I just need to cut a length of tape, put it on the feather, stick it on the shaft - and that's all she wrote.
The only problem with it is that it sticks immediately - making fixing a bent or misaligned feather difficult at best.

Comments about Feather Tape Feather Adhesive:
This is a great product. I have been using tape for over a year now and have lost only one feather. I shoot through a wisker biscuit on my compound but most of the time I shoot traditional. When I shoot broadheads sometimes I pull the arrows through the target. I don't clean my shafts very well, and I don't put glue at the ends of the feather and still have no problems. I shoot in the rain quite often and water has had no effect. Some other advantages are you can run a razor under the feather to cut it off and recycle it. I leave the tape that comes off right on the feather and I just add another layer of tape. Another advantage is you can remove the feather from cap wraps without damage. After removing just rub the tape off with your finger. I have used this on aluminium, carbon, and wood shafts with all kinds of finishes on them. Notice I said feathers not plastic vanes! I tried it and it failed miserably! Application takes a little practice but once you get it it is way faster than glue, and you can shoot your arrows right away. Great for field repairs also.
Comments about Feather Tape Feather Adhesive:
Incredible! I used this with Cabot brand brush lacquer, and they permanently stick to the arrows- all the way through the target! One thing though, you can't act like this is a liquid glue where you can slide the feather up the shaft as you align it in your Bitzenberger. Where it touches, it sticks-for good!

Comments about Feather Tape Feather Adhesive:
If you have big thick fingers you will have a hard time of it. I have average size fingers and was struggling just a bit to work with.

Comments about Feather Tape Feather Adhesive:
I cleaned my shafts with simple green and water mixed 50/50 then applied cap wraps. I then used the tape to attach the feathers and placed a dab of glue on the front and back of the feathers. I tried to pull the feathers up from the center and was unable to do so. I also shot them through a 70 lb compound completely through a layered foam target and feathers stayed put!!!!! I would recommend this product to anyone. Its simple to use and mess free. No more glue for me!!!!
Comments about Feather Tape Feather Adhesive:
Haven't lost a feather yet. Believe me I should have. I shot through the target and they were all still intact...

Comments about Feather Tape Feather Adhesive:
This product is very easy to use. I applied it to brand new clean shafts. Initially, all looked great. However, I found that during practice, the vanes would come loose from the shaft after a few shots. Had to scrape and clean the shafts and apply glue. Additionally, this product does not work well with all fetchers. The hen fletching comes off after a couple of shots.

I just started building my own arrows this year and went with this product based on the video shown. It is extremely easy to use and I've had no issues with feathers coming free from the arrows. I've used this on my practice and hunting arrows with a lot of success. I was able to fletch 12 arrows in no time - even as a first time builder.
