I USE THIS GLUE ON MY WOOD,ALUMINUM,AND CARBON ARROWS.I USE FEATHERS AND IT WORKS GREAT.I ALWAYS LEAVE IT 20 MIN.BEFORE I TAKE IT OUT OF THE JIG.IF I HIT THE END OF A CARBON ARROW AT THE NOCK SO IT SPLITS THE CARBON I PUT FLETCH-TITE ON THE ARROW SHAFT FOR 1/2 IN.AND WRAP SEWING THREAD AROUND IT.WHEN IT DRIES THE ARROWS SHOOT AS GOOD AS NEW.

I was trying to re-fletch some wooden arrows and was having trouble with adhesion but when I switched to some of the original fletchtite not the platinum no more problems.

Looks good. I bought a big can of it, not knowing what to expect because it was my first time fletching. I also had a little thing of billy goat tuff from a local pro shop and opted to use that.

Fletch-Tite is an "old reliable" product that is almost an industry standard. The relatively new "Platinum is an improvement on the older product in my opinion. It gives up none of the advantages, and sets faster, and is more compatible with different shaft finishes, gives better ahdesion. Cuts toal fletching time, by my estimate, by about 25-30%

I use this glue with wooden arrows, and I apply it over a dry coat of polyurethane. It works well until the arrow hits a harder target or after continued use of the arrow. At this point the fletching can begin to peel off. I just switched to Beyond Glue.

I have had very little failure of feathers coming loose or off with Fletch-Tite. I used it on bare shafts and those covered with wraps. I still use Ducco on my woods but may try this product.

Top notch glue! Be sure to prep the surface of shafts with Comet and water prior to using product. Feathers stay rock solid even after several pass throughs of the target. Be sure to allow the glue at least 8 hrs to cure prior to using.

I asked one of the old archers which is the best glue to use for fletchings. At the time I was having a lot of feathers come off while I was shooting. And he told me to use Fletch-Tite Platinum. This glue is great to bond on carbon, wood, and aluminum. It is easy to apply to the feather base and doesn't harden inside the tube like some glues do and ruin the rest of the tube.

I use carbon arrows, but I like to craft my own from wood also, and bamboo when I can get it. The fletch-tite was a dissapointment but the fletch-tite platinum works great!
