ussually i would go with the 5 1/2 inch sheild cut but these feathers are just as good the only differance being that the parabolic feathers are a tad quieter. still these fly the same as the sheilds i used the this time to make my arrows easier to id compared to my arrows for another bow..

Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight
These feathers are very high quality, consistent in uniformity, and beautiful, as well as, durable. I purchased the barred colors to get a traditional look on my "Game Getter" XX75 arrows. Although, I shoot a compound bow, I do like unique and pretty arrows. I fletch my own arrows (aluminum & carbon) because, there's not a soul to be found, for true archery services any more! TrueFlight Parabolic Feathers will not disappoint! They're both light in weight, attractive, and if glued on correctly will deliver supreme accuracy and arrow flight. Stock up on some, and learn to master a new craft you'll surely enjoy, save money doing, and derrive pleasure from.

Rebuilding Good Arrows to pass on to the Young Archers,(Nephews) so they might give them a new life and a gradifying life of Traditional Archery to their owners.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
I use these feathers on my target arrows and hunting arrows. I was extemely pleased with how consistent they were cut. Every feather was consistent in length, height, and shape. They were easy to glue onto my cedar shafts and the arrows looked great. This was the first time I have bought them pre cut and I really like the feathers. Saves me and lot of time and mess cutting or burning my own. And with the lower quality full length feathers out there I think this is the way to go now.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
Trueflight feathers are awesome...!!!I've been fletching my own arrows for 28 years and have used nothing but trueflight feathers. If only my arrows could talk -->>>>>--------------------------->

Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
The product was delivered in a timely manner. The fletching is very straight and does not tear easily. The only difficulty is with the fletching tool (Arizona easy fletch) due to glue residue.

Being new to archery, I'm trying to get better as fast as possible. I shoot at least an hour a day and am wearing these fleathers out fast. They look nice and fletching is easy and fun. But buy in bulk so you save $$$ in shipping.
Delivery is always prompt. I like the website and think this is a real resourse.

Until you come up with something I think is better I'll continure to use them. I have no problems with them and can not come up with the proverbial "but".
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
These feathers come from 3Rivers free of defects and ready to install. I'm new to fletching my own arrows but with my simple JoJan Monofletcher these feathers were cut true and simple to install. My arrows now fly as straight as (pardon the pun) an arrow. Now I don't have to have my archery shop repair an arrow just because of a damaged feather. Thanks 3Rivers.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
Use these for both target practice and hunting. Works really great.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
For me, shooting my stick bow I shoot off my hand. After shooting shield feathers,I noticed that one feather was worn down, the one passing over my hand.So I tried the parabolic feathers
and am very happy with them.Even being a touch flatter, very stable in flight.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:

Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
Great feathers. Stick with trueflight.

Going back to traditional equipment after 15 years with a compound. These feathers are consistent and the bases are flat. After they get ruffled from shooting, just steam them up a little and they are like new.

Very good product, fast shipping. Will order again!
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
I like to do my own arrows and this product is sorely needed. Also some of my older arrows have led a rough life and need re-fletching and this product does a great job.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
Besides feathers from Turkeys that you have harvested yourself, you can't beat these feathers. And for a pretty fair price too!
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
Very easy to use. Fly well.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
The Trueflight feathers out perform vanes by a landslide. Using vanes I could never shoot a fixed blade broadhead no matter what I tried. When I switched to equal size (5") Trueflight feathers three things happened. First it took 41 grains of weight off the tail end of my arrow. Second I now shoot fixed blade broadheads as accurate as field points. Third my arrow speed has increased. They are lighter and grip the air better than vanes do. 100% difference in accuracy when using broadheads. I use Fletch Dry powder on them and don't have any problems with them laying down in the rain. And finally Trueflight has a beautiful selection of colors. I build some of the best looking arrows with their feathers.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
The best of the best for the traditional shooter.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:

Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
Because I choose to shoot traditional, and "off the shelf" I shoot feathers. Having just returned to active archery in the last four years, I had to search for components to continue building my own. I have gotten feathers from local shops, from on-line vendors, and from 3Rivers whom I found through an ad in Traditional Bowhunter. I have yet to find more durable, consistent, and well cut/ground feathers than what I've gotten from 3Rivers.

Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
Shooting judo points out in the field, the feathers tend to tear quicker. But you are outside in the woods with sticks, grass, and trees. That does cause a problem.

Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
True Flight feathers are far superior to the other leading brand. I personally like that the quill is cut thinner and from personal experience they are more durable overall.

Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
The bases of the fletching were consistent and wide with the exception of one feather. I have in the past had numerous feathers with narrow bases, which creates issues when you fletch. Length was also consistent. I was happy with these feathers.
I was very impressed by the quick delivery, but Three Rivers has me spoiled to expect this type service. Good job Three Rivers.

I have used TrueFlight feathers for years. They may cost a little more but the product is always good and does not vary from pack to pack. I wish the TrueFlight folks could come up with multi-color feathers so I do not have to splice them.

Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
I use a four (4) TrueFlight fletch at 90 degrees on laminated birch and heavy ash shafted arrows. I shoot 55 to 60 lb longbows at a 26.5 inch draw and I use large heavy broadheads, Grizzly El Grande 190 grain. My arrows are 685 grain (ash) to 705 grain (lam. birch) and I use four (4) - five (5) inch parabolic right wing TrueFlight Feather fletch PERIOD. Bow and arrow are deathly quiet, arrows fly perfectly straight, and the four (4) regular height TrueFlight feathers make an arrow that is not overly sensitive to crosswind. Most important every batch of TrueFlight feathers is the same as any previous batch - love that consistency!

Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
Feathers are fine quality. No complaints.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
Precision cut and clean feathers. Bases are easy to glue. Look sharp too!
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
Outside of Banana cut, this design is the most durable of all, consistantly retaining its shape shot after shot. The parablic design practically eliminates all noise from arrow flight!
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
I'm dissappointed with the color of the traditional feather. Too much white on the barred pattern. Does not duplicate real wild turkey feather accurately.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
As I mentioned, the quality is good.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
Parabolic 5" are my choice for feathers. Quiet in flight and fletch-up well with left helical.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
These feathers are allways cut consistently. You can use them right out of the box or splice them together to make presentation grade arrows.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
Really solid rib for trouble free shaft attachment every time.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
The 4in feathers you sell are the best I have ever used, please keep them in stock.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
Parabolic feathers are have the advantage of being more quiet in flight than shield cuts.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
I hunt deer mainly here in my home state of Ohio and have been archery hunting with all types of bows, traditional, compound, and crossbow over the years. These flights fletch them all and perform flawlessly in all.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
I am semi retired, and I just started building arrows again. However, after the initial investment for materials, it's more satisfiing and cheaper to replace a missing or damaged feather.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
Feathers were as advertised... nothing too special, but good quality.
Fast delivery!
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
I have had best performance from these feathers over any others I have tried. I usually rely on 3Rivers for feathers for building my arrows, thanks.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
I prefer to use feathers with my recurves and these feathers were easy to apply using my Arizona EZ Fletch. I have had feathers which I had difficulty inserting into this tool. These fit perfectly and appeared to be more precisely cut and shaped.
I used these to fletch my new hunting arrows and have not, as yet, tried them. I don't anticipate and problems as they seem to have bonded extremely well.
Delivered quickly and packaged well
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
I have nothing bad to say about Trueflight fletching. Always consistant, always well crafted. Great stuff!
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
I've used these on the last batch of arrows I made over a month ago and they are holding up like a champ. I've had them pass through hay bales and brush dozens of times and they stabilize my arrows and look just as good as they did when I first put them on.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
Extremely consistent bases allow for ease of attaching to the shaft.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
I have been doing business since you started. Excellent service & products. I have always been impressed.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
I like these. I can put them on straight and the natural curve spins them nicely. I have also wrapped them around in a helical fletch, they spin like wild doggies.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
Very high quality product.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
I use it to fletch my Orford cedar. They are easy to use. I don't have to cut my own flights. I can fletch and go.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
I like them for target practice, less drag- flatter projectile.
Comments about Parabolic Feathers By: TrueFlight:
I have been making my own arrows for 9 years and have tried almost every feather shape and fletching arrangement available including 6 fletch with 2.5 inch feathers. (lots of spin for broadheads and less x-section in crosswinds) I like 3 fletch 5 1/2 inch hi-rib parabolic but they are noisy leaving the bow. It seems to me that Shield cut is noisier than parabolic. I have settled on 4 fletch, 5 inch, regular height, PARABOLIC cut, right wing feathers. That much fletch will control any broad head and covers some bad releases. 4 feathers at 90 degrees means any way I put the arrow on the string, index out or index in, it doesn't matter, the arrow leaves the bow and flies the same. Right wing turns the tip of the feather where it is glued to the shaft up and away from my bow hand when shot. If I was left handed with the bow held in the right hand I would shoot left wing for the same reason. I also have settled on orange as the only color fletch I shoot, it is hi-visibility under any circumstances, which of course means you have to cover your fletch when hunting - with a Cat Quiver that is no problem, roving with a shoulder quiver it doesn't matter.
