Ho hum....just another quality product, reasonably priced, timely delivered, from THE quality dealer!! I am certainly not an "expert archer" but I've been involved in some form of archery for most of my 55 years. I LOVE making my own arrows...I love the whole process from pieces to projectile and the TruFlight feathers are a critical part of the finished arrow. They are consistent in shape, color and quality. I use the full length feathers and a feather chopper and usually have enough leftovers to fletch up a few flu flu's...hows that for value!!

Since I don't know of another company that sells full length feathers, I have nothing to compare them to. I do think this is a good quality product,But.
A. If You want fletching over four inches long, This is an expensive way to go.
B. The "foot" or "quill" of the fletch is soo huge that it really must be trimmed in order to make a smoothly fletched arrow.
The only reason to use these is to create your own custom profile fletching. It is expensive and labor intensive. Have fun.

I got exactly what I wanted! The feathers came in the color advertised and they were very well processed being perfectly trimmed with wide, flat bases and no excess quill. Sometimes they were long enough to get two good 5" fletchings from one feather. They were easy to chop, glued well and fly great. Only God can make a turkey's feather, but it takes craftsmanship to get that feather to a shaft, and I haven't seen better than these.

I use the feathers for Kids arrows for the church camp. Across the board the quality seems good. I was not to happy about haveing a few that were crumpled. Maybe packing prob. They were a good long feather though. I like the fact that I could get three fletchings out of 75% of them.

I use TrueFlight full length feathers on wooden trad arrows - I cut them 5" trad with a chopper for 3D and leave them full length for flu flu's. Beautifully prepped spine on every feather makes them easy to work with and consistent results means at least one part of my arrow making is frustration free. They also look great and my arrows fy straight and true. Can't ask for more.

I used a little chopper to cut these down to 5 inches and fleched them to my new wood shafts. They look great and shoot very well. I not only recomend them but plan to buy more later on. The left-over feathers after the first cut are long enough to cut again for 3 inch feathers to use on the youth arrows I am also fletching up.

I am a primitive archer that cuts fletching from legally acquired goose and crane wings. My hunting days are over. I decided to subsitute the full length fletching available here. I have found them to be more consistent than my previous practice. They are also very durable. Combined with a burner that lets you customize the shape of the fletching, they are very attractive.

I bought a dozen of the full length feathers. I was able to cut enough 4" flu flu's out of them to fletch 6 arrows with 4 feathers each. Some of the feathers are shorter than others, but that's the way they are grown. Good way to get enough flu flu feathers so you don't mind when you rip one in half shooting aerial targets.

First, their florescent orange is so bright it is next to impossible to lose these in the woods. These are 11 inches and I do two wraps for roughly 20 inches of finished flu-flu. I would prefer to be able to get these dequilled so they can more easily be tightly wrapped around the shaft for true less than 40 yard flu-flu arrows. The other type I make is a 6 fletch 120 degree helical fletch for up to 60 yards. Each feather will nicely yield two 5 inch uncut fletches.Of course, these also work great in any of my 3 fletch designs, but with carbon shafts, I have gone mainly to 2 in Quik-spin vanes and only put fletching on cedar shafts.

I didn't realize these feathers came UNcut. They are like 8 inches long. I had fun cutting them into different shapes, but im not very good at it. Better have a feather cutter or burner if you buy these feathers. However, cutters and burners are a little pricey.

I use Trueflight feathers exclusively on my Xbow arrows. I have experimented with nearly every plastic fletch including the ever popular Blazer as well as another companies feathers. I have also experimented with fletchings ranging from 5 1/2" to 2 inches. I use a Young feather burner to make a 3 in. shield cut fletching. I use only Trueflight's full length barred feathers mounted on Goldtip pro series 22s. I use a straight offset of slightly less than 1 degree and these arrows will shoot in the same hole at 50 yds. p.s. build your arrows with a 23 to 27 foc. and you will be amazed at how accurate this combination is. 3Rivers has everything you will need to get started as well as a very knowledgeable staff that can coach you on how to operate your feather burner.

This product is very impressive...if you buy a 12 pack. Otherwise you are wasting your money. In a 12 pack usually 10 to 11 of the feathers are good quality, the other 1 or 2 being usable, if you buy by the hundred however, I have found that between 18 and 35 are utterly unusable. Even the best ones are not usually as good as that 10 or 11 from the 12 pack. I only reccomend the 12 pack.

If you're interested in building accurate arrows it starts with the shaft but ends with the feathers. I won't buy any other feather. Tru-flight has a loyal customer for life.
