Target, 3D, Hunting. I have arthritis in my middle finger of my hand. I have tried numerous gloves and this has been the best to avoid pain in that finger after a shooting session. Very well made, comfortable, and allows a very clean release.

I ordered this as I am new to tradtional archery, I've been shooting compound bows since the Browning Explorer II came out, so I just dated myself. Just started shooting Longbows, and, soon, I hope, Recurves. I imagine they give excellent protection from light brush, etc while hunting, and look forward to using them. Beutiful release. My real reason for this review, a friend of mine who shoots traditional saw mine at the range, and tried it, and even though it's too small for his farmers hand, loved it. This is the best recommendation I can give; I'm ordering one for him today--X-Large, of course. PS although I do not have more than a few weeks of traditional shooting experiance, I like the feel and stability of the full shot over the three finger types, and, as gloves are worn, I think they are easier to use than tabs. Will probably wear mine most of the time, while target shooting or hunting.

The material that is used for the release fingers is perfect
The only thing is it stains. After My wife was wearing it in the rain her hand went orange. on the whole she loved the glove.

This glove feels so good, without even breaking it in. I really love the way when wearing it that you do not even notice you have it on. The material that is used for the release fingers is perfect, the string just slips right off when you release the pressure.

After having an accident which caused a problem in the palm nerves - affecting mostly the last two fingers but restricting kinetic capacity, precision and overall delicate movements of hand, this full glove came as a present to me. Till I found it, having tested most three finger ones, I had to use a self made glove. But with this full shot glove the support of the hand and protection are superb. I have added control on my release and a tight feel of the lower damaged palm but still comfortable movement of the fingers due to neoprene used at the knuckles. I use it in a hot climate and it does feel a bit warm but the use of talk powder makes things better. The quality is by far the best in archery shooting gloves, though I would like to have an option in leather just like the open model that comes in Buffalo and - I think Elk too. I use it in practice - and it is used a lot but it feels and looks like it's made to last. A five star archery glove.

I did not like the fit and the feel. I need to feel the string with the flat of my finger tips and with this glove it does not happen. The fingers fit snug but there is too much leather and nylon between my fingers and the string to "feel" and control my release. I mostly shoot my 42# longbow but do have heavier bows as well. An old Indian told me that if you can achieve a smooth release with a light bow it will translate to a smooth release on the heavy bows. You can get away with a less than smooth release with a heavy bow and think you are doing fine. The Skookum glove works for me.

This glove has a perfect fit and wears fine. The only thing that's a bit less is that it stains. After wearing it in the rain your hands will be orange.

Very comfortable glove, good for the colder season. Tends to come quite large so I would suggest to go a size smaller than usual, I did and mine fits 'like a glove ;-) Cost is a bit high though in comparison to other gloves.

This is a much better feel than the Big-Shot Buffalo glove I had. It fits like a glove and it didn't loosen up, like the Big-Shot.

The glove fit extemley well and was consistant. The release was good. The nylon scratched my face a little. I shot with this glove for around 6 months and then it creases. I shoot with a rather deep hook and I shoot everyday. I easily shoot 1000 shots a week. It was given to me from a fellow who ordered it and it was too small. So it was free. But I would never on my own decision buy such and expensive glove that creases that easily. If American Leathers could fix this problem I would gladly order one at a lower price or one of their less costly models.

This is a good glove and it has a good feel. The only draw back to it is that the size is a little off. I would recommend that you order the next size smaller glove. If you wear an ex-large glove order a large.

The thickness of this glove makes it ideal for me to use with my flatbow, being a finger shooter i am hoping after time when the glove wears in a bit more i can use it for shooting my style with a compound.
