"Hey Mate, you got cordovan on my roo!" Why a Kangaroo and cordovan archery glove? Kangaroo leather is widely accepted as being one of the lightest but strongest leathers available. Australian kangaroo leather is not only light weight but is 60 percent stronger than cowhide and it's naturally water-resistant. Ounce for ounce, you won't find a more comfortable, tougher, longer lasting archery glove. Kangaroos are not endangered. As a matter of fact, Australian kangaroos must be culled to prevent habitat destruction. Kangaroo makes great glove leather but by adding the super durable, slick cordovan leather fingertips, the DownUnder Glove will give you a silky smooth string release that will last for year and years.

Comments about DownUnder Glove:

The fingers are stiff at first but get better with time. The glove seems quite durable--I have had it only 2 months. The glove part is quite supple and comfortable. I recommend it.

It took a while to break in, but now that it is - this is by far the best shooting glove I have owned. I find I get smooth releases each time, and looks like it will last.

Best Uses:

Comments about DownUnder Glove:

I was unsure about buying any glove without being able to try it on first. Although it is well constructed, the cordovan tips are so bulky and huge that there is simply no feel on the string whatsoever

By JimVerified Purchaser from Dublin, Ohio on 5/23/2009
Pros:
Good Protection, Quality Construction
Cons:
Poor Feel, Restricts Movement, Too Protective
Best Uses:
Hunting, Target Shooting
Describe Yourself:

Comments about DownUnder Glove:

This is actually a great product, just not for me. The Cordovan protects so well that it takes away too much 'feel' of the string for my taste. But...you will not find a better made glove, with super attention to detail!

Pluss's and minus's

Pros:
Comfortable, Good Protection
Cons:
Poor Feel, Restricts Movement
Best Uses:
Hunting, Target Shooting
Describe Yourself:

Comments about DownUnder Glove:

The cordovan is far too stiff for any feel of the string...also the stiff leather would easily set a groove in no time...On the plus side...this is one of the best made gloves I have seen!

Actually, the headline isn't true...you will need/want two so you will have a spare. It is tough, well made, and best for bows >=60 lbs. I even use the backside to burnish string wax on occasion.
