    Comments about Hawkwood Bowglove:

I'VE SHOT ABOUT 5000 ARROWS USING THIS GLOVE.
THE GLOVE IS LIGHT AND PROTECTS MY INDEX FINGER FROM THE FEATHERS.IT'S BEEN RAINED ON ,SWEATED ON,DIRTED ON ,AND HELD UP.SO THAT IS GOOD.HOWEVER THE THUMB AND INDEX FINGER ARE LAP STITCHED ON THE SIDE OF THE GLOVE THAT PRESSES AGAINST THE BOW.THIS RIDGE FROM THE LAP SEAM CAUSES MY THUMB AND FINGER TO BECOME TENDER.MIND YOU WE'RE TALKING 150 SHOTS A DAY EVERY DAY.THE GLOVE PATTERN SHOULD BE REWORKED SO THE LAP SEEM IS ON THE TOP OF THE FINGER AND THUMB.THIS WOULD ELIMINATE THE PRESSURE RIDGE ON THE BOTTOM AND MAKE THIS THE BEST BOW HAND GLOVE ON THE MARKET.

    Comments about Hawkwood Bowglove:

When using any of my English longbows, I always use some sort of glove on my bow hand, since even the best fletched arrows will over time leave a mark. The bow glove is fairly small, but does it's job quite well, and definitely something to have for anyone looking to shoot without a shelf.

    Comments about Hawkwood Bowglove:

From time to time I get cut and stabbed by right-wing fletching. This product will cure that. Also I shoot off the knuckle English longbows, and this is just what I needed. There is protection where you need it, and no extra bulk where you don't (need it). I'll be buying another for a spare.

    Comments about Hawkwood Bowglove:

I make my own primitive arrows and they can be a little rough on the ol' knuckle. This affordable product let's you keep your mind on the target and off your knuckle.

I only have about 200 shots over this glove, but it seems like it will hold up well. Great value product for those who don't shoot off shelfs or rests.

    Comments about Hawkwood Bowglove:

Was using a weight lifting glove to protect my hand from fletch cuts. The fletches soon began cutting up the stitching on the thumb side of the glove. This thing fits over the glove perfectly. No more cuts and a smooth surface for the arrow to glide across. Wish I could find one small enough to fit without the weight glove padding it.

    Comments about Hawkwood Bowglove:

Good product but you still need to watch for the thumb side. I shoot with a thumb ring release, with this release you also shoot on the right side or the thumb side of the bow hand. A couple of careless grips gave me some nicks on the thumb.

    Service & Delivery comments:

    Quick and prompt delivery.

I like it! Its cheap &helps with acuracy
By jack attackVerified Purchaser from Berkeley, CA on 12/12/2009

    Comments about Hawkwood Bowglove:

Before i got the bow glove i was shooting with just a regular leather glove. i could easily notice the difference in accuracy due to the much smoother surface. I generally shoot at 90 yards and the day i got this, i could clearly see that i was having much straighter flights and much more accurate. A must have for primitive shooters!
