The Magyar bow is inspired by the warrior-archers of the same name. The Magyar were the original Hungarian people, renowned for their horsemanship and archery. Because of their skill with the horse bow, at one point in history these great warriors controlled more territory than the French, being the third greatest power in Europe. Now you can harness that great empire-building power with the Magyar Sport.
The "Magyar Sport", (for draws of 26" - 32") is a 55" strung bow with a 50" string. Smooth to 30". A good choice for the aspiring horse archer.
The "Vazul" (Translates as Bear) is longer than the Magyar and is for draws of 28"-32". The Vazul is more for the hunter or target archer, as it is 57" with a 55 1/8" string. Fiberglass limbs under leather with solid wood syhas. Standard weights are 45# @ 28" - 65# @ 28" but special orders are accepted. Colors vary so please call for availability.
